Dan Cremisino
|
Coach Cremisino has a long basketball history and is now in his sixth year as the head coach of boys’ basketball at Forest Lake High School. The varsity program is 95-48 and is averaging 19 wins a year in his six years of coaching.
The 2007 team won the Academic State Championship and the 2010 team won both the Suburban East Championship and Section 7AAAA Championship. Eleven players have been named All Conference; three have been named All State and one Academic All State during this time. Coach Cremisino has been named the Section 7AAAA Coach of the Year twice.
It all began at Columbia Heights high school where Cremisino played baseball and basketball for two Minnesota Hall of Fame Coaches. At North Hennepin Community College he played basketball and he became the team captain. After earning his degree from Hamline University, Dan began teaching in the Forest Lake School District. Along the way he earned his Master’s
Degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas. This is his 30th year of teaching; the last 23 have been at Wyoming Elementary. His wife Deanna is a 3rd grade teacher at Linwood Elementary School. They have two boys who are both former Rangers. Drew is a 2011 graduate of the University of St. Thomas and is now working for US Bank Corp and Ty who is a junior at Hamline University and is studying Biology. |
| Dan Jacobs
|
Before joining the High School coaching staff in 2006, Coach Jacobs logged plenty of hours in the gym. As a player at Forest Lake he was a 2-time all conference player and lettered 3 times in basketball and track. He also lettered twice in cross-country. Jacobs was elected to the Forest Lake Athletic Hall of Fame in 1976.
Jacobs has held many coaching positions in his 33 years in the Forest Lake school district including basketball, softball and cross country.
He currently teaches 8th grade history at Southwest Junior High and lives in Hugo. Coach Jacobs has two sons, Erik, 27, and Aaron, 23, a recent graduate of River Falls. |
| Kale Henry

Coach Henry is in his sixth year as a JV & Varsity assistant with the Ranger Basketball program. He also teaches sixth grade at Forest Lake Elementary. In addition to his basketball coaching duties, he serves as assistant Varsity Baseball coach at Forest Lake High School and is active in the traveling baseball program. |
| Kevin Keto
|
Coach Keto also played basketball for Forest Lake high school and was part of the conference championship team his senior year. He graduated from Forest Lake High School in 2003. Keto then played basketball for three seasons at Augsburg College and was the team captain for two of those seasons. He graduated from Augsburg with a degree in psychology and now works as a special education paraprofessional in St. Paul. |
Doug Sewall

Coach Sewall is in his first year of coaching at Forest Lake Senior High. He was part of a state participant and conference champion team his senior year. He graduated from Forest Lake High in 2010. He currently is a full time student at Century College and plans on becoming a Physical Education teacher and coach more basketball in the future. He also works part time at Menards. |
| Tim Conley
|
Coach Conley played basketball and baseball for Forest Lake and was all-conference in both and Conference Most Valuable Player in basketball his senior year. He holds the record for most assists in one game and in one season and still ranks in the top 10 for assists in a career. He graduated from Arizona State University. He was head coach for the varsity baseball team for 14 years, finishing runner-up once and making the state 4 times. He has been a traveling, junior high and high school basketball assistant for 31 years. Currently, he is the Athletic Coordinator for Community Education for the Forest Lake School District.
